Yanghang Industrial Zone, located at the center of Baoshan district in Yanghang town, was first approved by the district government in April of 1999.

Adjacent to Baosteel Group in the north and Huchang Steel Corp in the east, the zone has focused on the industries of logistics, transportation and storage. A special structure has been formed in recent years, covering iron and steel manufacturing, electronics, machinery, metallurgy, fine chemicals, new building materials, modern logistics and light foods.
