Entrepreneurship study center unveiled in Shanghai
A study center for entrepreneurs was unveiled at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on Wednesday, aimed at supporting the city as it builds itself into a global science and technology hub.
The center, the first of its kind in the municipality, was jointly established by Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Bank of Shanghai.
It is envisaged as a think tank for entrepreneurship studies with a global perspective, providing theoretical and intellectual support for innovation in Shanghai.
According to the center, it will work to compile and publish an entrepreneurship index, promote entrepreneurial cooperation and exchanges and cultivate professional talent.
The center has already established an academic committee, which consists of several renowned scholars and professors from both home and abroad. This committee will provide academic guidance at the center, as well as focusing on cutting edge theoretical studies.
